SpaceX Independent Investment Guide

Brian Wang, Nextbigfuture has worked with Spaced Ventures to create the SpaceX: The Independent Investment Guide. It is designed to be a fairly exhaustive look into SpaceX’s technology, products, services, and finances, based on deep research and publicly available information. This is primarily a factual snapshot of the business as it stands today. We don’t go into valuation forecasts (yet).

Currently it has 65 footnoted sources (which I’m sure will expand in the future), as we’ve taken days (maybe weeks) to compile references. There are a lot of moving pieces when it comes to SpaceX. We’ll do our best to keep this updated in the future, likely on a quarterly basis.

I have described my forecast the SpaceX will go to its next levels over the next 2 to 3 years. The immediate economic impact will be ramping the new dish factory in Texas to scale the capacity for new Starlink customers from 100,000 per month to 500,000 per month and beyond. SpaceX has added and will ramp higher tier Starlink service plans (Business, business priority, RV and mobile priority and there will be a new Starshield military grade secure communications). Ramping customers can achieve 3-5X next year on volume and 2-3X more average revenue from the mix of higher tier plans next year.

The reusable Starship era will enable ten times and eventually hundreds of times larger satellite constellations. The volume of Starlink high bandwidth customers will increase over a hundred times. The secure communications for military and finance customers can reach 500,000 users paying Bloomberg financial terminal level fees of $24000 per year or more.

The SpaceX: The Independent Investment Guide has over 40 pages of analysis.

  1. I see it’s a WHY guide, not a HOW guide, seeing as it’s a private company so getting stock is not as straight forward. If Brian is comfortable with it, perhaps he could explain how he acquired SpaceX stock?
