Lockheed NGAD Fighter in a 3D Computer Model

Youtuber Pilot Photog has created 3D models of the Lockheed NGAD concept. Lockheed’s Ultimate Secret Projects (Skunkworks) team has just unveiled the silhouette and concept drawing of their next generation air dominance fighter, the NGAD. Pilot Photog has a groundbreaking 3D model and explore the incredible capabilities of this game-changing fighter.

There is detailed look at the air intakes and rear engine exhaust port.

Pilot Photog has used the silhouette and drawing of the NGAD concept and integrated it with the known stealth features of the B-21 stealth bomber and the features of the F35 and F-22 stealth fighters.

The Lockheed NGAD is streamlined in all directions and is prioritizing stealth and then speed. It will need to fly at over mach 2 to properly launch hypersonic missiles. If hypersonic missiles are launched at slower speeds then they need rockets or multiple engines along with the scramjet engine.

  1. To date, I’ve seen at least a DOZEN renderings of the NGAD, possibly more from enthusiast sites. I know it’s being tested out of Edwards. At some point, a grainy shot of the real thing will surface.

  2. Again, renderings are too small, even with adaptive engines not enough fuel load or space for adequate weapons. What happened to the the claim they would be big, like almost a quasi-bomber, got way too expensive?
