Youtube Video of a PCPOSOS Room Temperature Superconductor With Full Levitation

Here is a video of a PCPOSOS room temperature superconductor experiment.

The video matches up with one of the slides from the APS Hyun-Tak Kim talk.

Different Kinds of Magnetism and Levitation

Diamagnetism is a property of matter, superconductivity is a state of matter. Diamagnetism describes how a material reacts when plunged into a magnetic field. Paramagnetism is almost the same thing. The difference between para- and dia-magnetism is just the sign of the response of the material with respect to the magnetic field.

A diamagnetic is repelled by a magnetic field, whereas a paramagnetic is attracted by a magnetic field. A diamagnetic material tends to repel the applied magnetic field, whereas a paramagnetic material tends to attract to the applied magnetic field.

Complete levitation, with no resting of part of the object, would be an indication of superconducting meissner effect. The lack of flipping is an indication locking for a type II superconductor.

  1. Why is the video resolution only 480p in 2024? Don’t scientists have the money for cheap budget smartphone with at least Full HD?
