Comcast has drawn a distinction between “paid prioritization” and “anti-competitive paid prioritization.” Paid prioritization should not be banned entirely, but “anti-competitive paid prioritization” should be limited.
Comcast will do whatever can get away with to make more money
Obviously Comcast will do whatever they can to maximize revenue and will do whatever customers and the government let them get away with.
Anti-competitive paid prioritization would likely get them sued by fairly deep pocketed competitors. So they will not do something that will get them successfully hit by Google’s army of lawyers.
