Elon Musk wants the new Tesla Roadster is to beat gas sports cars on every performance metric by far and without exceptions.

* faster from 0 to 60 mph
* faster on the quarter mile
* better braking, cornering and handling
* higher top speed.

Tesla will have 10 small rocket thrusters around the car. They will electric pumps and compressed air.

The Mclaren F1 was built from 1992-1998. They had
