The Dugout Loop will help reduce traffic problems in Los Angeles and it will be an operational proof of concept. Dugout Loop will directly benefit the public by complementing existing public transportation systems and transporting baseball fans and concertgoers directly to the Dodger Stadium… in less than 4 minutes.
* Construction of the tunnel and the two loop lifts is expected to last up to 14 months
* Passengers will be transported on autonomous electric skates traveling at 125-150 miles per hour. Electric skates will carry between 8 and 16 passengers.

This is interesting for a number of reasons. First and foremost its optimized for travel time. Most municipal railways stop every 2or 3 km. It really doesnt matter what your max speed is if you spend most of the time stopped. Second to reach that speed will require pretty close to 3gs halfway. I’m curious how the general public will tolerate that for several minutes. Great goals for a pilot, im curious how much will survive the political process.

I don’t think this is intended to use Hyperloop technology. Not every electric underground PRT is a Hyperloop, and Boring company’s system certainly isn’t.
