Gaza 2.5 Mile Terror Tunnel With Heavy Machines Captured by Israel

On Sunday the Israel Defense Force detailed its discovery of the largest Hamas tunnel in Gaza yet revealed. It is so large a Hamas terror leader drove through it.

The IDF released videos of the tunnel which is located in the northern Gaza Strip, near the Erez border crossing with Israel.

It is a large tunnel system which splits into branches of tunnels, spans well over four kilometers (2.5 miles) and reaches only 400 meters (1,310 feet) from the Erez crossing.

The tunnel system apparently starts under a large series of workshop buildings in which Hamas began constructing the tunnel using boring machines seen in captured video. The workshops facilitated the integration of plumbing, electricity and communication lines into the network according to the IDF. Along its underground length Israeli troops found blast doors which the IDF explains were constructed to prevent IDF forces from entering.

    • Hamas committing terrorist acts makes them terrorist, comrade. What part of that was too complicated for you?

  1. No one is asking how is it possible that the Israelis never noticed this. I know they knew there were tunnels but how did they not know the magnitude? Where did all the dirt go? And where did all the concrete come from?

  2. Brian, there are some serious problems with your website.
Every time I type your website name into browser it doesn’t lead me to the main page(newest articles) but some random old articles. The same is happening when you click on logo on your website, on healthy website it should lead to newest article on main page but here it’s also linking to old, random articles from november or early december. It’s annoying because each time I must click on it several times to finally land on correct page and see newest articles. It’s like that sice few weeks.

  3. Imagine how many people they could have fed and educated with the international donations diverted to this negative value infrastructure.

Whatever hell they believe in, Hamas leaders and their collaborators deserve to spend an eternity in it.

    • oh please. this is a garbage part of the world without any foreseeable future. Israel is the only sane entity within the bounds of Italy on the west, South Korea on the east, and Australia on the south. No amount of aid will fix this area or its culture. The absolute removal of Isreal would only immediately fill up with the backward destitution that currently exists at the borders – after their 30-day anti-semitic party – which likely would have resulted in just as many ‘party’ deaths as the current operation. Maintaining a minimum near-poverty level by tossing UN aid over the fence to supplement the lack of help from its somewhat-religious-aligned neighbours would be the only suitable investment until a near-zero-cost energy technology and water-treatment system could be dropped on these people to integrate into their low-value society over the comign decades. Protecting one of the few bastions of civilization in the area, Israel, even at the cost of remaking the entire zone, would be as much a benefit as any other to the world at large. Facilitating some kind of self-sufficiency and connection to its sympathetic neighbors in Gaza/ WB should be a priority to reduce unending deep-seeded hatred by maybe get these people working and productive. Productive toil is the only means of diminishing hatred and fostering some meaningful identity.

      • Benefit to the larger world? yeah destabilizing multiple countries including some with decent modernization to fuel rise of one extremist group after another and funneling a refugee crisis on Western shores has done much good to the world. As has done dumping trillions into protecting and expanding precious tiny patch of civilization that Israel is seen as. Imagine colonizing the stars with that effort instead.

        • Israel is not at fault for the destabilization in the region. The destabilization is caused by the many backwards extremist groups who want to kill all of them at any cost. Giving in to murderous terrorists because it’s expensive is antithetical to any western morals. I wouldn’t want to colonize the stars over a road of dead bodies.

    • Fed and educated for what? there aren’t many jobs under the siege. Whatever hell Hamas leaders go to, Netanyahu and rest of Israeli hardliners should go with them for sabotaging two state solution.

      • They didn’t sabotage anything. “Palestinians” never accepted the two state solution when it was offered to them. Israel should just nuke that hellhole and rid the world of these fanatic backward animals, period!
