Israeli IDF Completing Main Combat in Khan Yunis and Prepares Rafah and Central Gaza Operations

Troops in elite commando units of the Israel Defense Forces are increasing attacks on Hamas targets in western Khan Yunis ahead of the looming invasion of Rafah, the terror group’s last stronghold in Gaza.

On Wednesday evening, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that the IDF would be conducting intense combat operations in Rafah after wrapping up warfare in Khan Yunis.

“We have instructed the IDF to prepare to operate in Rafah and the two central camps,” Netanyahu said at a press conference in Jerusalem, describing Gaza’s southernmost city as Hamas’s “main bastion.

After Defeating the Standup Hamas Khan Yunis Battalion There Will Still Be Hidden Hamas Units

There will still be Hamas fighters after the fall of Khan Yunis. There will be undiscovered underground tunnel sections where units will hide and then emerge to fight. There are major Hamas elements in Rafah and the central areas.

Lower intensity combat is still happening in the North despite IDF taking the north over a month ago.

  1. The only obligation a young man in Gaza should feel is the obligation to get out of Gaza/WB at all costs, in order to lead a productive life in peace. Swim if you have to. I’ve known a few Palestinian Americans… one is a 70+ year old Christian nuclear physicist who claimed his mom lived-out her years in Jordan with key of Palestinian home around her neck – boo hoo! Another was a pretty typical wealthy Arab – heavy on the cologne and womanizing.

They’re fighting over a postage stamp of land inside a postcard of land. If it were 120 years earlier, before the information age, like as recent as 1903, Israel could do whatever it wanted in clearing their land of hostiles.

Might is right, in Israel and East Ukraine, and those who die resisting overwhelming force in conflicts that began before any of us were born are SUCKERS and PUNKS, FOOLS, ETC.

  2. Continued mistreatment of the native Semites of Israel who have been confined in the Israeli Gaza concentration camp will only recruit another generation of warriors eager to avenge the mistreatment. IDF is engaged in endless war while the economy of Israel has come to a dead stop. Evil begets consequences. Take two guesses and the first one does not count.

    • Israel should do WHAT to stop the Nazi-like Jew hatred of the Middle East…apart from cease to exist? (Yes, many Middle Easterners are little more than brown-skinned Nazis.)

      • Agreed.
        There’s no happy ending.
        With Israel nearby:
        – Palestinians and surrounding areas are poor, useless, potential-less, and violent hate-filled anti-semites;
        -or-
        Without Israel nearby:
        – Palestinians and surrounding areas are poor, useless, and potential-less.
The only way forward is to neutralize local and regional terror, placate and create sanitized and risk-free work/live zones, and periodically secure and neutralize new spawning terror. Always keeping a significant technological, military, and interlligence advantage. Allow an international force to monitor and ajudicate.
If the Palestinians and surrounding areas want to continue to live and act as violent livestock they should be treated as such.

  3. When will Hamas finally give up? They’re experiencing a slow and painful death as the Israelis put the squeeze on tighter and tighter. Yet they still keep sending in their fighters on suicide missions and refuse to give up an inch of Gaza until the Israelis seize it from their cold, dead hands (hopefully soon!). They were insane for thinking that murdering 1200 Israelis would lead to anything good for them; they’re more insane for their insistence on being defeated by the Israelis instead of a negotiated surrender. Unfortunately, the Palestinian method for the past 70+ years in the region has been to “Demand everything, receive nothing.”
I sincerely hope that the west doesn’t take pity on their failed attempt at fighting Israel and attempt to force a ceasefire to give them another chance.

    • Hamas won’t give up as long as their cowardly, corrupt leadership is living in luxury condos in Qatar. Israel could kill every Hamas terrorist in Gaza and they still wouldn’t give up. As long as the leaders are safe and their backers send them money, they don’t care what actually happens in Gaza.
