There are reports on Telegram and X of a plan by Iran’s QUD (foreign militia’s in Syria, Lebanon – Hezbollah) and Iraq to attack in waves.

TL:DR
Iran notified the US of its intention to strike. It would be more to show Iran’s prowess rather than any significant strikes of note. The intention here was for Iran to claim they hit Israel and Israel to claim they shot down all the missiles. No further escalation.
Let’s hope that’s the end of this.
